Wheels look great! Yeah I've heard that Meguiar's is the best Headlight Restoration Kit. I might be slightly biased though because I do all the washing and waxing of my car with Meguiar's...Always have. Do you have any other future plans?

Re: New wheels

her headlights are too far gone for the meguires kit to work. I love their products and don't use much of anything else.

3M headlight resto kit is in order when the lenses are that clouded.

Re: New wheels

3m gives a better finished product on really hazy headlight housings.
Costs pretty much the same as mequires, but they don't have the 500 grit step of the 3m and that's the money step.
You grind away thinking oh snap, they're ruined... but if you do it for about 30 minutes to an hour the 800, 1000 & 3000 grit will remove all the damage the 500 caused and your light housings will shine like diamonds.
For real bad I'd reccomend buying extra 500 grit paper. They give you 8 in a kit. I used 6 on one lamp. So I re-used two and two new on the other lamp and it was obvious. It looked a billion times better, but not as stellar as the first one did.

Love those, they kinda look like the 04-08 Acura TL Type S wheels. Actually besides the center caps they look pretty much identical. You should see if you can find some Honda center caps that fit em, they are nice

I don't think I want to go any lower. I want to be able to drive my car without worrying about every single bump and hill lol I rub in the back already as it is, but thanks for recommendation for the headlights.

Thank you! I mean whatever does it's job is fine with me lol but next thing I'm looking to get are headers and work on performance, but I still have to do my research on all that and fix this little oil leak I have and figure out why I have a little bit of smoke when I push it...Gotta do all that first.

Re: New wheels

Yeah, I imeediately thought of the TL Type S when I saw these. Very nice indeed.
I can vouvh for the 3M being the route to go with headlights that are that far gone. Much cheaper than buying new ones and you will be amazed at how new they look.

Re: New wheels

Yes they can be saved by the 3m.

Don't go any lower stephanie x.

Smoke could be from valve seals. Not real hard to replace or expensive if you have a mechanic do it.

Awesome, I'll try that asap. But I won't..I don't want to go any lower. It would look so nice but such a pain lol but that's what I thought it was. I read up on other prelude owners with the same problems. We'll see if that fixes it when I do it. Thanks!

Re: New wheels

another way to do headlight restoration, is sanding all the crap off, cleaning , then using spray clear coat, then wet sand and buff it. I have used and recommended this method, and it has worked great in the past on my friend's prelude.

Do you plan on attending the Bear Mountain meet on Nov 17th? It's in Harriman NY, I don't know where in NJ you are from, but it's only about 30 minutes from the Jersey border.

Nice and subtle, I like.
