We aren't ripping it apart. The teachers plant a bug in them and we have to diagnose the problem and fix it. I dunno if I can get a hold of one o the vins... :/

I wish our school had a Prelude donated to us

I'll plant a bug in it for you by snatching the entire engine, transmission, 5 lug swap, wheels, and steering wheel and you tell me why it won't run

I believe I read somewhere that the first few 5th gen preludes used excess blocks from the 4th gen, so some of the earlier '97 models had an A1 block instead of an A4. I could be wrong, no actual data from Honda.

OP nice donation, call honda, maybe they want it back! lol

We have a 98 Civic CNG (natural gas) with a VIN ending in 000008, manufacturers must donate the first batch out to learning facilities.

That lude could be worth some money in a few years to the right buyer. That's pretty sweet IMO.

Too bad factory donated cars are doomed to the crusher at the end of their useful life at a learning facility. The VINs can't even be registered

We had a 2005 Infiniti G35X stolen off our campus this past semester and the authorities/teachers didn't do too much to find the car/culprit. Hmm...ideas on that 5th gen...?
