78' Avanti

I had the pleasure of cleaning this car today and thought I'd share since it's not a car you get to see often.
Sorry about the quality of the pics,

Held speed record for 6 years too. Sounds so sexy even at idle.

As rare and fast as they are, I still think they're atrocious, lol.

I respect them for what they are though.

Re: 78' Avanti

I actually totaled this car a little over a year ago. Some lady high on something pulled out in front of me in a Plymouth Neon. I hit her doing about 45mph. She pulled off to the side of the road and the male passenger got out and took off, and a few seconds later she took off down the road. Fortunately a cop had seen the whole thing and helped me pick up the parts that were scattered on the road. After we were finished picking up the parts she decided to come back with her male passenger. The guy tried saying his back hurt to get me screwed but they were at fault. $24,000 later, you can see this car looks brand new. The main reason it cost so much was due to the body being one piece and we had a new top and reupholstered front seats installed. It was one of the worst nights I have ever had.
