Spark Plug Fouling - White Ash

Hey Guys,

Usually I'm just browsing the forum, but today I'm hoping you guys could provide me with some input. I have a 2001 Honda Prelude SH with 127,000 miles. I pulled the spark plugs out the other day out of curiosity and found that the spark plugs are fouled with white ash. The spark plugs were replaced 2 years ago and have about 8,000 miles on them. I've read on other forums that the white ash is the result of burning oil or using fuel system cleaners. My car doesn't puff out blue smoke as far as I know and I've only used Chevron Techron fuel system cleaner once in the past two years that I've owned the car.
The Spark Plugs that were in there were the NGK Iridium Ix Spark Plug (ZFR6FIX-11). I replaced the spark plugs yesterday with the same kind.

If anyone else has had experience with white ash on their spark plugs and could provide some causes for the fouling such as being piston rings or valve stem seals, please reply. I'd love to hear your responses.
I've attached 2 photos of the spark plugs for you guys to look at.

Re: Spark Plug Fouling - White Ash

Check into having the valves adjusted and see if that helps.

Pretty much got flamed for driving like a jackass and was told to slow down. And I'll be damned, slowing down fixed it.
