Icon5 Nuespeed race springs :)

I've looked for a while and cant find the answer I'm looking for. I plan on dropping my car on some nuespeed race springs. I plan on running the stock blades and stock size tire (205/50r16)

My question is, will there be any wheel gap? I'm wanting the tires to tuck in a bit.

Thanks :-)

Re: Nuespeed race springs :)

This was me on Neuspeed races + KYB AGX.
SE's were 205/55/15 I believe, and the 17's were 215/40/17.
2 finger gap in the front with the SE's, and 0 gap in the rear with both 15's and 17's, borderline tucking. But I also always had a system and toolbox in the trunk.

Re: Nuespeed race springs :)

Looks really clean!! I'm definitely planning on buying some. Thanks for the pics!!!

I'm aware that if I run these on stock struts and shocks I'll be asking for trouble. But I plan on upgrading a little later. I have a lot of flat roads in my area with no pot holes. Do you think they'll last a month or two? Also will the drop be the same?

Why do you wanna do TWICE the work? (You think you're saving a little now, but it ends up costing more in the long run)
If you do the install yourself, that means you gotta do TWICE the labor.
If you're having someone else do the install, you gotta pay twice as much.

Just keep saving, do it once, and do it RIGHT.

Re: Nuespeed race springs :)

I agree. I still browse my old pictures on my laptop. Even back to the first picture I ever took of the lude. Sitting there, no tags, just begging to be driven like a $2 hooker.

Re: Nuespeed race springs :)

I'll tell you right now. Impatience will cause you to spend more money than you want to. Like twokexlv6coupe said before, Do it once. Do it right. KYB makes a good product. I had AGX's on my SH, but never dealt with the GR2s. If i had a chance to do it again, I would have gone with Koni Yellows.
Either way, KYBs will work with Nuespeed springs.

Re: Nuespeed race springs :)

Coilovers will definitely give you the ride height adjustability you want. I had Koni Yellows and GC Coilover Sleeves on my SH, and they were awesome. I can only imagine how awesome full coilovers will be!
