New set of rims

There's a guy willing to sell me his Drag Dr-31 rims WITH tires for 300. They're in decent condition. One rim has a slight bend but no leaks. However, what I'm worried about it if it'll rub. I'm gonna be travelling 1 hour to get these. That's like almost half my tank to go back and forth. I don't wanna waste my time, gas, and my mileage just to find out it won't fit. They're 17x9 +28 with 225/45/17 tires. I'm lowered 4 inches from the ground in the front. Should I take the offer? This is for my 5th Gen btw.

Re: New set of rims

Sounds like you will need to roll fenders and possibly pull them a bit. Maybe even raise car an inch or so if you want to have some real rubber on the rims, like he has on them already.

Re: New set of rims

If I already have my fenders rolled and pulled a bit, you think they'll fit PokoLoco?

Re: New set of rims

Yeaaa, I read it over and over and I ended up passing the guy on the offer.. I might do more fender work tomorrow so maybe later on in the future I can fit some 17x9s on her!
