Yay or nay?

I need opinions from fellow luders as my dad and my best friend's opinions are really biased..

I got these white plasti dipped SH rims. I'm really unsure if I like it or not on my car.. Should I just keep the rims? Take off the plasti dip? Or switch back to my IS300 rims?

Here are my IS300 rims on my lude when I first got the car.

So opinions please?? There's a meet on the 2nd of March I want to try to look my best ):

Re: Yay or nay?

I like the SH rims. I would paint em black. That would look awesome on a white car.

Re: Yay or nay?

plasti-dip the IS rims black or redo the SH rims white again. Plasti-dip is awesome stuff. I did my rims black and they held up well, I did 5 coats per rim and I painted my SH rims black. Can't go wrong with black rims on any color car imo.

Re: Yay or nay?

I had white sawblades for a while and loved how they looked on my lude. But really, I got really tired of trying to keep them clean. That said, I'm not diggin on the IS wheels. However, it is all based on your opinion. I try not to do things simply because other people like it, I do it because I like it. Otherwise I would own a scooby like every other person on the planet.

If you don't know what you like, how are we supposed to know what you like?
We can only tell you what we like.

I vote neigh. Not because it looks bad. But because it won't hold up and you'll be plagued with having to keep fixing them.

Argh! Sell both sets for some AP1's and stop playing. You don't seem to like either.

Lol... Funny thing is... I actually have AP1 rims in the backyard.. I just don't know what spacers to run, which tires, etc. I'm just deciding between these two so I can decide which I can use as my spares while I try to sell the other set for money for spacers.

Re: Yay or nay?

Did you just try the rears on? They should fit zero issue, unless you have a staggered set. Honestly put the widers in front for better traction.

Or this easy trick. Measure the length of the wheel studs. IF AND ONLY IF THE WHEEL IS NOT FLUSH ON THE HUB, get a measure of the new stud length. Subtract the new length from the old lenght. That would be your spacer thickness.

Don't foght the rim on for an accurate reading. Add 5mm for shockplay and spring clearance.
