4th Gen Height Limit/Camber kit?

I was wondering how low the 4th gen preludes can go before you start to rub your tires when you turn. I hadn't thought about this until i saw it while i was searching lowered preludes on google. Also NOOB question but are the ball joint camber kits the same for the front and rear? By that i mean will the Front camber kit/ball joint fit the rear? Thanks.

Re: 4th Gen Height Limit/Camber kit?

There isn't a limit.

It all depends on; wheel diameter/width/offset, tire width/sidewall, spings/shocks or coilovers, ride height, camber settings, spring rates, etc...

They probably will fit, but ball joint type camber kits have clearance issues when you hammer a 'lude. They'll smash into the car's body on hard bumps.

Not sure about 4th gens but when you slam your lude the ball joint with hit the top. I don't think you would really need one for the rear and I believe you wouldn't have as much of a clearance issue

Well i was just seeing since we sell a adjustable ball joint that goes from +1 to -1. But i only want to do like a 1.5-2.0 inch drop all the way around nothing to crazy since i drive through sh*ty roads on a daily basis.

Yeah thanks, my coworkers to me that too! I was mainly asking simply because at my store we sell adjustable ball joints that go +1 to -1 camber. I was thinking of doing this since all my ball joints are all gone. 195+k miles and im sure they have never been replaced so i thought i would go ahead and use the adjustable ball joints as a straight replacement.

Re: 4th Gen Height Limit/Camber kit?

I'd just replace the control arm and get the anchor type camber kits that Ingalls makes.

Re: 4th Gen Height Limit/Camber kit?

I slammed mine as far as I could, rolled my fenders with a baseball bat no rubbing, upper control arm hit the frame so I cut holes in my engine bay so my upper control arms can travel without hitting.
