Yuck.

Hey guys...got my Tanabe strut bars on today...not a big deal, but i wasnt aware that i had to "modify" the inner trunk liner. Just cut little holes for the bracket to go through and finished in about an hour and a half. But the sway bars were an entirely different story. I spent 2 hours trying to get the stock rear one out...broke two bolt on the passenger side bushing, but ended up okay (WD40 and vice grips covered with a rag). After finally getting it out, i attemped to install the rear (Yes, Ogs. i decided to make do with the green. HAH). And this thing is giving me a really hard time. I tried to follow the same pattern of turning and twisting that got the original one out, but it doesnt seem to wanna go in. I ran out of sunlight and the skeeters were eating my legs off, so i decided to try again tomorrow. I was thinking that taking the rear tires off and maybe lowering the exhaust might help...Has anyone else had this much trouble installing these things? Any suggestions? I'm really frustrated.

^^^ That thing was a pain in the ass. Bleh
There was actually a noticeable difference in the handling. I was definitely surprised. I kinda figured that the difference would only be a seat of the pants kind of thing like an intake would be...Ya know, you "think" you feel a difference...But it definitely held corners a LOT better. Anyways...cant wait to feel it after the front is done. Straight-line goodies are next...

Come to think of...I do have a question. Is there anything special that I need to know, or need to do in order to make the front sway bar install easier than the rear was...? It looks like I'm gonna have to drop the exhaust a bit...Any suggestions?
