Lowering 2" will my tires rub?

Alright, the story is I have a set of tires that are 205 55 16 on my SH right now and I'll be lowering my car 1.75"-2" soon but I was wondering has anybody tried going that low with 55 sidewalls without rubbing? I was considering getting the Falken Ziex 502 and going back to 50 sidewall since 55's make my lude look like a truck. How would you rate these tires?

But with camber kits you are able to tuck tire to avoid rubbing correct?

Yeah you should be fine.

Yes you will rub the inside of your tire well at full turns. But thats IF you are running stock wheels the offset is not low enough. I lowered my sh about 2"+ and I rubbed big time at full turns. Now I have lower offset wheels and its all good.

Re: Lowering 2" will my tires rub?

Hey guys just an update. I went ahead and lowered my car before getting my new tires installed and I didn't experience much rub with the 55 side wall. As I was driving to the wheel shop, I only had two rubs one leaving my drive way and one while entering a slight slant to the parking lot of the shop. So far I love the ride height and the konis, also got my v2 replica fog lights put on :D
