Steering Wheel rocking back and forth slightly

My wheel is feeling like the tires aren't aligned but I just got them aligned a couple of days ago, and it didn't help at all. The only thing I could think of is that it's messed up because I got hit, or I might have flat spots because some truck ran a red light and I had to slam on brakes, left some nice thick marks for a few yards. Anyways, is there a way I can look to see if I have flat spots? And What do you all think it is?

Re: Wheel rocking back and forth slightly

if your wheel is moving from left to right slightly it could be your lower ball joints. jack your car up and rock the wheel from left to right by hand...

When I said wheel I meant steering wheel.. not the actual wheel, idk if that's shaking or not. haha

I'm having that same problem but I feel it only on acceleration. Drive 55 and no shake. But if I get into the gas it begins to wobble

Yeah, I have the SAME problem, wobbles then goes away! I've replaced pretty much everything! Tires, tie rods, ball joints, axle shafts, struts. Guess I should try new rims, but the tire place said they were fine. Or new bearings. IDKK what next

oh yea, did rotors and pads too

Re: Steering Wheel rocking back and forth slightly

Something else too look at is make sure your wheels are balanced. Wouldn't explain why it disappears at 55 but can cause a lot of different shake
