Anyone know of a reputable place to buy a set of Function and Form type 1 coils for my 5th gen?

The prices on that site are great for F&F already, how much of a discount would he offer?

What didn't you like about the type ones or what did you like more about the type twos?

I am thinking about getting the type ones. Its my daily driver so no racing. I want a drop; little bit stiffer ride; little more fun; and that's about it. I don't abuse my car but I would hope they are durable.

Do the type ones sound like a good buy for what I want?

How can i get that sweet hookup? 536 shipped is awesome!

Re: Function and Form

How low can each set go in terms of ride height? Which (Type 1's or Type 2's) Would be better to get in order to get a flush look on my car?

Re: Function and Form

I believe they give the same drop. However, being the springs are softer on the Type-one, I'm thinking the car's weight will sit it a little lower. Flush look is all about the wheels, homie.

I'm planning on getting some XXR 527's 17x8.25 all around with +35 offset up front and +25 offset in the back.
Will the Type 2's drop me more than 2"?

Re: Function and Form

Theyre worth it if your into racing. Whether it be road, drag or whatever. Theyre only a couple hundred more than the type1's and you can control the dampening.

If your just wanting to lower your car just for the sake of it being lower tho, I would get the type 1's. Only bad thing Ive heard about them is that the rear springs are too soft.

Good gracious....don't follow the crowd. It seems like half of the stanced cars I see have those or some variant. The other half has a wheel with a chrome/polished lip. 527's look good, don't get me wrong...but they're over done. Try some 522s...If I would have had the stance to pull it off I would have gotten those. But hey, that's my opinion.

There's a crowd? I didn't know, and even if there is I don't really care. I'm going with these wheels because I love the look. Who cares if they are played out. I'm going to build my car the way I want to and that's that. Not trying to start anything, just saying.
Plus, most of the nicer wheels cost a pretty penny and well, I'm a broke college student looking for an alternative.
