Do you guys think they can be polished? idk what brand or material they are but what do you guys think?

Fix the curb damage and polish them! Putting a strong magnet to them would help you determine what type of metal it is. Most likely aluminum decent magnets can be found in blown speakers.

If the magnet sticks, you've got a ferrous alloy (steel).

I don't think it'll stick cause as Josh said, those are probably aluminum.

If they stick, that means when you polish them, whatever protective coating that was on them will be gone and your shiny new looking wheels will magically turn orange! haha
If they were steel, those would be heavy mofos.

ok so if im following you correctly lol if the magnet sticks maybe i shouldn't polish them right? and how do i know if those are aluminum? what if they have magnesium? wouldn't that mean they cant be polished? just need to make sure so i can decide if i should paint them or polish them
