Re: suspension help

That photo is way too close up. Need a better photo with the part identified. Also, are you lowered? Lowering your vehicle creates negative camber, which will make you wheel appear crooked.

Re: suspension help

it's the shock connected to the LCA. it looks like you have not only some camber issues but also your toe is a good bit off. were you in an accident or what??? your LCA could be bent. no way to really tell unless you compare them with a known good one.

Re: suspension help

yea the previous owner backed it into a curb.. he said he thought it was a lower control arm (LCA?) but i just wanted to make sure of it and yes the car is lowered about 2 inches

Re: suspension help

LCA is probably bent. Also, lowering will always create a little negative camber. I cup the insides of my tires like crazy

That may or may not be the issue; I'm not positive.

As for finding it, try junkyards or eBay.

Re: suspension help

so do you know for sure the LCA is bent? backing into curb (depending how fast) won't do that much damage to your suspension. unless you're going full speed in reverse.. and even then... i'm skeptical. i would think the wheel will be the first thing to get bent. when i asked if you had been in an accident, i was referring to the scrapes you have on the side of the car leading to the wheel. like you side swiped something or someone hit you pulling into a parking space.

do you experience any pulling to one side when you let go of the wheel? i would also look at your tie rods too. first things first though. get an alignment at least. that could be enough to fix your problem.
