tein basic coilovers

the suspension in my girlfriends lude is ****ed up so she wants to put some coilovers in it. when i bought my prelude it came with a full tien suspension up grade including a camber kit and i love them, however we dont have the money to get her a camber kit and i was wondering if we just lower it like an inch and a half would we still have to buy a camber kit for it? the coilovers we are thinking about getting are the tein basic driving master damper coilover kit. was woundering if anyone has use those or a simular coilover system without a camber kit. any info would help.

With the drop you're planning you "shouldn't" need a camber kit. I say that because even car is different and react differently to suspension changes.
Also I would recommend functionform type 1s, cheaper and same performance or better. they also are built with tophats so you don't have to use any of you're old setup

Re: tein basic coilovers

The Tein Basic coilovers ride pretty well, but adjustability is really lacking for the price, especially with companies like Megan and Function & Form making coilovers at the same price range with more options.

But you shouldn't need a camber kit, as long as there isn't a whole lot of messed up sh!t in there.
