Megan racing isn't a particularly good brand for anything. Had you searched you'd know this.

Re: megan racing brand?????

Megan Racing is good for cat-back exhausts! But so is any other company that can weld a few stainless pipes together..

I wouldn't buy anything else from Megan Racing though, my exhaust is amazing however.

Re: megan racing brand?????

I don't think Megan is as bad as people think. They're getting better as they get further away from the eBay scene. I'm probably gonna get some Megan springs just until I can grab some D2 RS coilovers.

So I've heard. I had one of their headers on my H22 and it was kinda ****ty quality. From people I've talked to though, it seems like they're starting to make good suspension stuff for certain chassis (Nissan/Infiniti from the people I've talked to).

POTM winner on Preludepower Mindtricks runs them

They're from the same manufacturer of BC coilovers [not buddy club]
which is an extremely popular setup run by the g35, 240, etc scene

Re: megan racing brand?????

my megan header on my accord was great. my megan coilover sleeves on tkico illumina struts on my accord were very stiff, it rode great, no bounce. but you just gotta pair with decent struts. my friend had megan springs with tokico HP struts on his mk4 jetta. my other friend has a megan camber kit control arms and solid subframe bushings on hs 240 which was a track car with a 2jz in it. he loves that suspension. alot of people will tell you megan isnt known for their suspension. but ive never had problems nor have my friends. dont believe everything you hear. but from my experience its a pretty solid company.

Re: megan racing brand?????

I have Megan Racing Cat-back and i actually love the sound. I also have their lowering springs. i got them for temporary untill i get coilovers. The back is actually slammed for springs, cant even fit one finger in and its almost tucking. the front however still sits like a finger and a half so that sucks. Anyone have front coilovers?? Or maybe all 4?

Their coilovers for Acura TLs ride pretty good. I have their header on my h22, definitely gonna replace it with a hytech replica when I get the extra cash.

megan tein jic form n function godspeed apexi

they are all made in china just different labels, only coils made in japan is like the super high end jic tein apexi which cost a **** load....

honestly megans coils aren't that bad at all. my friend has them on his ls460, miata, civic, and damn it rides good and comfy when its all dampenin down, and when its up its a bit harsh but not too bad.

Im running the Megan EZ Street coilovers. ive had them for about a year and i have had no complaints. I replaced my old set of Tein coilovers. I think the megans ride better overall, now my girl wants them for her 08 TL typeS. paid a little over $800 for the set and couldnt be happier.

I was spying Megan but figured their suspension would be a little cheap.

How about Yonaka? I found a Yonaka Coilover kit for $750 /w shipping.

Re: megan racing brand?????

I have heard good things from Honda owners about Megan springs. I just had mine delivered this morning. Will let you know how mine feel.

That being said, I DID buy Megan because of the low price but I already plan on doing complete coilovers down the road. Just wanted something to drop my Prelude while I save for some quality parts.

I'm quoting an old post here but given the choice what would you run?

BC's or Megan's?

Obvious answer is obvious since we all know what you decided to get
