Lets go lower

I just put on some eibach pro-kit springs which dropped 1" in the front and 1.2" in the back. &i have them on stock struts for now.

Next paycheck comes around, im going to order myself some koni yellows.

But the thing is, i kind of want to go lower :/
Any struts that you recommend that may possibly drop it lower or any other solutions to go lower?

I heard you can custom order some konis that'll drop it about half an inch. Is this true? &if so where can i order them?

Re: Lets go lower

wanna go lower .. buy coilovers. Lowering springs alone would not give you the low you want. And shocks are used for damping, not height adjustment.

Re: Lets go lower

Yea, get some ground controls to go along with the konis. The konis also have multiple spring perches, so if you don't get coil overs right away. You can lower it a little bit more.

Re: Lets go lower

a good set of coilovers will help you out.
www.squadrononemotorsports.net has ksport coilovers for 20-30% off right now i believe. that should allow you to go as low as you want.

Re: Lets go lower

Like mentioned above, you will need the adjustability of a coil over suspension if you want to lower your car some more.
You can have your Koni Yellows(w/ GC's) shortened and revalved if you want to pursue lowering the car even more.

Re: Lets go lower

Yeahh, Ive decided to get the F&F type 2 coilovers.. just need to come up on $975 >.<
What are your opinions on these? From what Ive read so far, they are pretty good. But if Im about to spend that much amount of money I want to make sure they are the legit deal or if theres anything out there better for the same price.

arent F&F and ksports and d1's all made by the same manufacturer?
i am pretty sure i have read that on a few different sites. if thats the case why not go with the cheaper of the 3 since they are all basically the same. check ebay pricing from dealers on there. or like i said above, ksports are 30% off still i think.

Re: Lets go lower

Ksport coilovers seem to be a good price. you should be able to adjust height aside from spring rate.

Well the true way to adjust height is from the bottom adjustment. Some people do it with spring rate but thats just wrong. Thats how u get a harsher ride.
