Ebay Coilovers??

hey guys...

im new to this site but im not a noob lol...

anyways, im looking for something CHEAP.... for my new 89 lude.
new is not really the word to describe it thought because its beat to **** and rusty and ****ty or w/e, but its my new project and id like to lower it.

so.,..

im wondering if anyone knows anything about the cheap $40 coilovers on ebay and if their worth it, or even if they will not break.
i know u get what u pay for, but will they at least work for what they are worth.

i appreciate all comments /suggestions

thanks

cheap is not reliable. spend the money to do it right, or spend the money elsewhere.

Yeah man, do it right if you're gonna do it. Look at the price, do you really wanna be riding on something that cost that much new?

you said it yourself. you get what you pay for. they're so cheap for a reason. cuz it probably takes LESS then the price to actually make them. its like i always say, if you're gonna waste your money, waste it on something thats worth wasting the money on.... i know its 40 bucks.. but thats 40 bucks you could put towards something useful... so save it and put it towards something thats worth wasting your money on. when it comes to cars, you do not want to go cheap. you'll regret it later because eventually you're gonna have to replace that cheap piece of crap you put on your car. and you're gonna wish you saved up and spent it on a real suspension set up.. you want something cheap and effective... tokico is the way to go. i dont think ive ever heard one bad thing from a 3rd genner about tokico.

they will work with lowering springs depending on the age and condition of the struts. That does however cause stock struts to wear out prematurely. your best bet is to match up a decent strut and lowering spring combo.
