5th gen lude tyre help

i need some help here guys, i'm only new to driving and my tyres are worn and i need new ones, i looked up and found that my stock honda 97 lude SI has these atm.
195/60 R15 88H

i was wondering if i could put 195/50 R15 kumho's on this lude. Lower profile...

i looked at that sticky thread and i didn't really understand it.

Sorry i'm a noob :(, don't know much.

any help would be appreciated.

also another newbie question, you only have to replace shocks right? not suspension, when i go over speedbumps my lude squeeks and i think i need new shocks, have no idea what its going to cost though.

Recommended Tire size & Offsets!

Take a look at that chief.

Re: 5th gen lude tyre help

Ordinarily I'd ignore this, but since you've spelled tyre correctly you got my attention.

In answer to your first question, yes you could run 195/50 in lieu of the /60 profile. Your speedo will read slightly too fast (when showing 60km/h you'll be travelling 57.3km/h - subject to speedometer accuracy).

If your suspension is creaking over bumps, I'd suggest looking at the bushes. Shocks probably wouldn't need replacing unless they're leaking (or you wanna go lower). Cost depends on what you want to do with the car - basic replacement parts are cheap, track style adjustable setups are expensive.
