17x8 on 4th gen?

For those experts out there:

I'm looking at a set of wheels for my 4th gen, but the info on these wheels is a bit limited. They're 17x8, but the seller doesn't know what offset they are. Looking at them, it appears as though they are Racing Hart C2 EVO wheels, with an offset somewhere around 42 or so. Here's a picture of the car they're currently mounted on:

I plan on running a 215/40/17 tire on it... I'm thinking it will be a close fit, but shouldn't have any problems. I'm currently on stock suspension BTW.

It'll probably work, but you'll get some rubbing of course. Try it out, tell us how it goes.

I'm no stranger to rolling my fenders. Had 3 S14's and 4 S13's before I came over to the dark side. At least I started the dark side the right way... with an H22A powered 5th gen Accord lol.

I think it's about a 42 offset. He's lowered on springs, not coilovers. You can see the negative camber. Regardless, I'm snagging them. lol.

I promise you those wheels will fit... Especially since you aren't dropped yet.. I have had a 17x9 on my car with a 40 offset and those fit up front but stuck out like an inch from the fender... Talk about one hell of a rub!!! lol. Im thinking those 17x8 will fit super flush when you drop your car... Good luck. You should get to rolling those fenders too.
