Is this a good setup?

Alright everyone I've finally got my hands on some Koni yellow's and i'm gonna import some Skunk2 coilover sleves from ebay (I live in the UK). Do you reckon this is a good setup? I wanna go as low as possible. Is there a better alternative for the same price that anyone knows about?

Thanks,
Dane

Re: Is this a good setup?

Koni yellows are very good struts, and i am extremely pleased with my sk2 springs. i would imagine the coilovers are just as good. so imo, yes that sounds like a good setup.

Sweet! Looking forward to slamming in 3". Then probably raising it an inch. Have you got any pics of your car lowered? I think I know which springs you've got. Cheers

Re: Is this a good setup?

As above, the Koni yellows are a great item. I'm rather partial to the Ground Control coilover sleeve setup though instead of the S2, but that's a personal thing.

Re: Is this a good setup?

Mate, that is actually rediculous! Your car is SO clean. And that rocker cover is SICK!! I like that drop actually I might still consider getting the springs. And Brash what's the difference between the GC and S2's?

Cheers

Re: Is this a good setup?

OK Just checked up on the GC coils and it says they can drop up to 3.5". Which has put them in the lead now. Can anyone give me some real pro's / cons for either. Much appreciated!

Thanks

Re: Is this a good setup?

Price difference?

Like Kev said, he likes the ride on the Sk2 springs, they just add an adjuster mechanism. The GCs are the same concept, however they start life as an Eibach spring.

The only thing I can come up with mate is that I've read tonnes upon tonnes of good reviews on the Koni/GC setup; on here and every other Prelude board I've ever been on. While I've never actually read of anybody having the Sk2 coilover.
