im thingking of buying a work emotion xd9 with this specs. 17x8.5+42 5x114.3
im thingking of putting 215/45 tiros on it. what do you guys think? will it work on a 2000 prelude with a 1.5 drop?

you will be stretching those tires putting them on an 8.5" wheel. i would go with at least a 225 in a 40 series. you may rub, im not real sure.

i guess this wont work for me then i dont wana go 40 series. i should just look for a 17x7.5 so i can use 215/45

the series is an aspect ratio so since ur gettin a wider tire it will be thicker than a 215/40

what did you use?

and what rims specs would you recomend?

hey, you see that little red EDIT button in the bottom right hand corner of every post you make? start using that to modify your posts instead of posting back to back.

anyways, right now im runnin 17x7's with a +42 offset i believe. although i would much rather have 16x8's and rolled fenders so i can absolutely sh!t hammer my car.
