Re: Tires

depends on the drop
but i'm pretty sure i have those size tires
no problems with mine but i'm only at a 1.5 drop

on another note about the tires though.... they always seem to be flat in the front..... i know for a fact i don't have a slow leak because it's the same on both sides and i've checked well.
anyways someone will help out

that's a good question!
i still don't know
and it wouldn't really matter since a drop is a drop
you choose the height and that's what you get
(unless you've chosen coilovers that is)

Yea, agree with you.

+44 offset with a 7" wide wheel is a very grey area for preludes. You are probably going to rub at stock ride height with a tire that wide.. This is where camber adjustment and crazy tire wear begins. Good luck sir. At least you will be eating tires with volks.

And if you had the money to throw down on volks then you shouldn't have a problem spending around $1200 on a good adjustable suspension set up and about another $300 on a good camber kit.

Re: Tires

Thanks for all the imput guys! I'm definately not made of money and btw these are used volks... lol but at any rate, I just saw a great deal for some new Eagle F1's 235/40zr17's locally for $400 before dealing down. I thought it would be worth the inquiry. Originally I'm wanted to run 215/45R's but having a hard time finding a decent deal for good tires. I run General Exclaim UHP's on my other rides and love 'em. Good price for a good tire but not wanting to pay retail - Tryin' to PoBoy.

Adjustable coilover suspension is an option but not right now wife's been cool with wheel/tire purchase and dont want to push my luck. Will a camber kit w/o coilovers be a positive addition? Plan was to get new struts and lowering springs. Will it be benificial?

Re: Tires

If you plan on getting those wheels you might need negative camber to prevent them from hitting your fenders. Do some research and if you can't find some nice answers then ask me again.
