Re: motor mount inserts

you gotta take the bracket off (what connects the MOUNT to the ENGINE) with the 3 17mm bolts into the engine and the 1 long bolt going thru the mount. then the inserts go on both sides of the mount. this is for the front mount.

the rear one is a fuking bitchhhhhhh tho. again you gotta take the bracket off, but this time it's like 5-6 17mm bolts going into the tranny/engine. but since the bracket is so big and bulky, there's absolutely NO room to pull it down, so you gotta twist it in various positions so you can snake your (hopefully) skinny arm/hand up over the crossmember so you can (blindly) place the inserts on both sides of the mount.

LMK if you need anymore help.

Re: motor mount inserts

For the side mounts well you don't really need to swap them out. But if you want to you can by some but there not made buy the same people you got the inserts from. I can not think of the name of the CO

Re: motor mount inserts

yup they'll increase the vibrations in your car from the engine since they're designed to reduce motor movement, which in turn helps when launching and improves traction by reducing wheel hop.

Re: motor mount inserts

i would say solid mounts like innovative or ESP are gonna be slightly harsher and more vibrations than inserts on stock mounts. but thats me assuming, i don't have solid mounts (yet )
