removed "spacers"

when i got my lude it has some little metal spacers in the springs that looked like compressors without the screw attatchment that goes with them. they were rubbing the shocks and squeaking something terrible- so i took them out about an hour ago. doesnt sit that much lower and a hundered times quieter...

Re: removed "spacers"

they are called spring spacers....

o'reilly sells them so dose autozone

you mostly see those in domestic cars, they are used when a spring collapses. basically a cheap way of fixing weak spring that cant hold the car anymore. (pain in the ass to install)

Re: removed "spacers"

Also use to raise a vehicle ever so slightly.
You're good though. Don't need 'em.
