Maxxis Tires

Has anyone on pz heard or used maxxis tires? Im looking at buying new 17x7 Konig maxxim ferris rims and maxxis HP 215 45R17 tires. I would also like to know if anyone has some reviews on konig rims. Also how does the tire size sound, I dont want to have any gap between my fenders and wheels (or to much). Also what does it mean to offset your wheels. What does it do, how do you dot it and how does it work?

no help from me on the maxxis tires, however i have 17 inch Konig Glyde wheels on my car, and i absolutly love them. I have zero complaints and Konig is a very reputable wheel company.

Re: Maxxis Tires

Maxxis are a very reputable brand when it comes to tires as well. As for konigs...they're decent. Lot of their wheels are just copies off of other higher end makes. But that still doesn't make them crappy. Good for price but if you want originality, I'd go with better makes. Good luck.

Re: Maxxis Tires

Ok so from what Ive heard konig rims are not the best rims, but for the price and my budget they are a good buy. Also I still dont understand offset. Ive read the description but I still dont get it. I guess Im more of a hands on learner. So Im gonna Order what I listed above. Thanks for the info everyone. It should be done by friday. I will post some pictures.

Re: Maxxis Tires

also I'd once again say, look at Craigslist and type in 5x114 and look at your other used rims option. I'm about 80% sure you'll find a better one on there, sometimes including decent tire for close to 600 or less. Let's just say I got my Racing Harts for a deal, can't say what the deal is. but trust me...take your time and you'll find some sweet rims. Don't rush and get konigs.

X2. I have 18" Konig Unknown wrapped wit Toyo Proxes dropped on Tein SS kit. I have had no problems with these rims. I wanted to close the gap as much as possible but without damage my car. Damn speed bumps in NY!

That looks very sexy! What size tires are those? 215 35? Also how much did you lower it? I was also thinking 215 40R18 on stock height. I believe that should take away most of the gap.
