Installing skunk2 lowering springs and KYB AGX

So I bought some KYB AGX and Skunk2 lowering springs for my 5th gen prelude.

What I wanted to know if its a good idea to buy a new mount plate & bushings for the shocks? What about a boot kit?

Something like this:

Anyone know all the parts you need to be able to assemble the shock so I wouldn't have to reuse the parts from my old suspension? How about the cost for the additional parts (minus the actual shock & spring)

Anyone able to recommend a place to buy all the parts for cheap?

Re: Installing skunk2 lowering springs and KYB AGX

So would you say if I got the cash to spend buy the KYB boot kits? They come with a dust cover and their bump stop for like $12 a shock so around $48 total.

Not yet, I wanted to wait a few days for it to settle. I plan on getting a 4 wheel alignment Thursday or Friday. I'll post the numbers from the print out when I get it. Thanks for answering all my dumb questions.

I don't know if you can tell visually but to me I don't see any negative camber but then again maybe its not to obvious to the untrained eye?

no problem, the easiest way to see it is to look from the rear to the front right down the body line. and you can tell how much the top of the wheel tilts in.

Re: Installing skunk2 lowering springs and KYB AGX

well I got it aligned but the tech forgot to print the sheet so all I remember is -1.6 front camber and -2.6 rear camber and the toe was .0x all around

strangly the caster up front was like -2.6 which the tech joked it would help balance it out but he said I'd need a rear camber kit. I guess I will get some rear upper control arm kits and DIY up

Re: Installing skunk2 lowering springs and KYB AGX

i would recommend the balljoint style, i have heard that slammed cars have trouble with those kits that bolt on to the control arm because it causes the arm to rub the tire.
