Re: Camber kits?

Im thinking about getting the spc ball joint style one but im not to sure yet. The reason is, I bought a moog ball joint for my car (The stock one took a crap on me) and its adjustable. But the damn thing hit the shock tower every time I hit a bump because its taller. I wish some one like skunk2 or blox would make an upper arm for ludes. That would make it easier on me lol.

Re: Camber kits?

my ingalls hit the shock tower in the front. They've slipped out of adjustment 1 time, and haven't done it again in over 2 years.

BTW...what kind of camber kits are you guys using on the rear??

Re: Camber kits?

For the 5Gen, the ball joint type is the only option on the front, and all of them are slightly taller than OEM. The best we've found so far (if they still make them) are the Progress ball joints. Not as much adjustment range as other brands, but they're the shortest we've found.

If you have a 4Gen, you can use adjustable mounts, which obviously don't have the problems that the ball joint camber kits do.

I've been meaning to make some tubular arms for the front, but I just haven't had a chance.

I personally use some custom upper control arms front and rear that are similar to the Skunk2 design, but more compact.

Re: Camber kits?

I have heard a lot of people say they like the spc better than the ingalls.

Re: Camber kits?

I have the adjustable mount camber kit that i got from Ebay. The only problem that i had was the end of the control arm will hit the frame on the inside of the fender well. I remedied the problem with a dremel tool and shaved the end of the control arm.

Re: Camber kits?

I have a question... does like Tein upper pillow ball mounts work with other shocks? Ive read that they work with like bilstiens but i dont know. I know Ksport makes them too... I just think these would be easier to adjust than upper a arm ones or ball joint ones.
