Alignment question... Maybe Stupid : /

Hey people-- so, My 4th gen decided to mess up its own alignment, the steering wheel itself rests turned just a little bit to the right, on its own... If i letgo of the wheel, the car curves right. Theres no play in the wheel, if I hold it, it'll be fine...

Basically, can I fix this somehow? Adjust the steeringwheel? Could torn CV boots have to do with this, i have torn CVs...

Thanks

the torn cv's have nothing to do with it. get those replaced asap before the break on you and you're stuck somewhere and have to get towed. those things are sealed and pack with grease for a reason. no grease + no seal + sand and dirt = broken cv's

alignment is one of those things, over time it just naturally goes out of wack due to the wearing of suspension components and bushings and such. typically a simple alignment will fix the steering wheel, but there is a way to adjust the steering wheel if the alignment doesn't fix it.

Yup exactly what he said! Could be a shifted control arm causing your wheel too be off. Sounds like ur toe could be off too. Toe is generally adjusted at your tie rods. You would just have to get your alignment checked out. Doing something as simple as hitting a parking curb can shift your alignment out of whack.
