Anyone have any reviews on these guys? I can buy a pair on craigslist by me for 80 bucks and they have 6,000 miles on them...good buy or no?

Re: Dropzone Springs

if you are looking for the most uncomfortable ride you have ever taken. then yes, they are a great buy. a friend of mine had dropzone. he hated them. it was his biggest regret. i drove in his car... ONCE. i will never drive in it again. something you should consider, always swap out your shocks for some aftermarket ones when you lower your car too. the stock shocks WILL blow. eventually. the harder you drive your car, the faster they will blow. especially on dropzone springs. how much do they lower like 3 inches or something iirc.... another thing to consider. this is with almost everything you do with a car, cheep and fast isn't always reliable. fast and reliable isn't cheep. basically saying, don't always buy the cheepest thing you can find. you're better off spending a little more money and buying somethign with more quality and a ride you will actually like.

Re: Dropzone Springs

You have to realise that suspension is the only thing keeping your tyres on the road. And keeping your tyres on the road keeps you going where you want to go. Which is why you should never skimp on the quality of suspension componants. or tyres for that matter, but that's another topic alltogether.

Re: Dropzone Springs

I have some tein S-Tech's and I recommend them. They sit my car low about 1.5 inch drop. Perfect if you want to throw a lip kit and rims. Also the springs are close to stock spring rates so its a comfy ride while adding a lil sportiness. Perfect.

Yea i'm def going to replace the struts as well. I think someone on HACstl.com has some nice coilovers he's selling so i'm going to do research on that. If i decide to go with springs i'm probably going to go with H& R.

Re: Dropzone Springs

please don't get the dropzones....just save up some extra money and get a quality set. The stock setup is better than the dropzones by far.
