Lowering problems...

I lowered my car this week and have had some issues. I dropped it with some Neuspeed springs on Tokico Blue shocks on my 97 Type SH.

As soon as i took the car for a test drive i noticed there was a front end rattle and it was easily felt when hitting bumps. After brining the vehicle into the shop at school we put it up on the 2-post lift and watched the bushings at the top of the strut almost sink down to flush with the opening on the strut tower. Then when the vehicle was put on the ground they push up like theres excessive play in there.

Im almost positive that this has something to do with the rattle but im not sure what to replace. It almost appears that the bushings aren't sturdy enough to support the weight of the car when lifted up.

Could these bushings be worn and causing the play/rattle or could the strut mountsbe worn causing the problem? I'm scratching my head at this thing and getting more aggrivated as i keep dumping money into it. I just want my SH back so i can fly down some curvy rounds and it not rattle.

Other important info:The springs were used(Si Speed's old ones) but the shocks were brand new and the car has 72xxx original miles. There was ZERO rattle or noise before the vehicle was lowered and its only coming from the front.

Thanks in advance to any and everyone's input.

It rattles when you're driving or just hit a bump?
Mine still makes a noise when I hit a bump, but I know it's just that my bushings are bad.

Just over bumps, but it just seems louder than it should be.

Would anyone care to elaborate on this? I'm unfamiliar with this.
