Re: Campbell's RHD Kswap 4th gen rebuild

The engine seems more forward than would be ideal. Is this just because of the placement of the engine mounts and that the k24 faces the opposite direction of the h22?

After about an hour of searching, I finally found it. It's called the Auto, pocket radio Part# 39116-SD4-010 goes for about $30.

Re: Campbell's RHD Kswap 4th gen rebuild

Zac, have you weighed the K24 and tranny and compared it to the H22 and tranny?

Re: Recommended Tire size & Offsets!

Will a stock size wheel (16x6.5) but with a different offset, whether it's higher or lower affect the turning radius? I'm thinking about getting the 05-06 RSX base wheels (as long as they're...

Re: 05 rsx base rims???

What's the weight on the 05-06 ones? 02-04 are 16lbs but don't look nearly as good.

Re: Adjusting the idle valve screw.

I had trouble getting the screw driver to it and couldn't really get it to turn either direction really, the "pit", "valley" of it is too shallow.

Re: Lexan Sunroof?

Geez, 18lbs is a lot. So lexan weighs about 50% less than glass? THe weight for the motor and assembly is ridiculously heavy too. Any lighter motor designs out there?

Re: Lexan Sunroof?

How much should I expect to pay for a lexan moon roof? Are there any other alternatives? What should the weight difference be?

It's not a purple purple but faded to a purple hue. I have a 5th gen and I believe it came tinted, I'm the second owner.

Any idea how much the oem glass weighs and how much less the lexan would...

Re: 1996 prelude si needs new eninge. which engine should i get

Go K20, the torque is basically the same as an H22 to the wheels and there's more power over the entire rpm band, you'll also save over 100lbs and spend less money on gas. More after market support...

Re: automatic AC

Automatic climate control was available in the Japanese and Australian Preludes. From what I understand it is expensive and time consuming to do the switch but probably worth it in your climate.

Re: AC High End = High Pressure

My A/C greatly messes up my rpms and takes away at least 10% of my power at low rpms.

Re: help with moon roof want to change to glass one

Couldn't you just get a lexan moon roof for the weight and 3M crystalline tint for the heat? The sound issue is more to do with your sealing quality than anything else.
