Honda Prelude Forum

First off I would just like to say Thank You to all those who have given me support, advice, and answers to my questions over the past five and a half years. I wouldn't have been able to get where I am without you guys.

I will have owned this car 6 years in May. She's came a long way from day one, and I've still got a lot of plans, especially for next year. The only thing I have really done since ROTM is install my ESP Motor Mounts and add some JDM SiR interior parts which are pictured below. Also waiting installation is JTCCustoms Short Shifter, Skunk2 Black Series Oil Cap, and IL4 Stainless Brakelines which I got for Christmas. I can't honestly say I'll ever be "done" with the car, because there is always stuff that I am wanting to change because I just get bored with the look of things. I am probably most excited about changing the stance. I am going to be upgrading to a set of D2 Coilovers so that I can go a little bit lower and then ordering a set of CCW LM20's 17X8 up front and 17X9 in the rear with a +35 offset. I'm going for a flush fitment. There will be a little bit of tire stretch and poke, but nothing retarded looking.

Other than the stance, I have a lot of plans for next year, which I highly doubt I will get done with. Exhaust needs to be redone for more ground clearance. My brakes need an overhaul, plans are for slotted rotors front and rear, stainless brake lines, and HPS pads all around. Other plans for next year are to work some more on my interior, which include, wrapping of headliner, sunroof slider, and rear deck. Track down a set of good condition SiR door panels that somebody doesn't want an arm and a leg for. Installing some sort of red stitched steering wheel, undecided between EuroR, S2K, and CTR. The biggest planned change to the interior are a pair of S2K seats redone in black and red leather to match the SiR components. There are also various smaller things like the Spoon RVM, spherical shift knob, and wrapping a lot of the trim pieces in carbon fiber I would like to do.

Motor rebuild and shaved/tucked bay are in the distant future, like a couple of years down the road.

I guess all I'm really trying to say is that this car isn't anywhere near "finished."
