Because injen short rams don't change the sound of your car.

Noise comes out the othe end marviin.

Re: injen intake sounds like a regular one..why????

Are you using a high flow filter? I used to use a metal blitz knockoff together with special red oil to catch crap and it sounded really good especially at idle you could hear the engine sucking it down. Then I moved on to a fujita filter and things got quieter. That's my experience with it. Your filter may have too tight of a weave, restricting flow to achieve the sound/ drone you look for. At 80 mph if I stepped on it it really screamed with this hum then the fujita put an end to that.. I stool hand that metal filter BTW... Lol "still have" not "stool hand" haha! Eww. That's the phone fault.....

Re: injen intake sounds like a regular one..why????

Also, u can filter your breather orifice, instead of running that into the intake. That just dirties your engine...

Re: injen intake sounds like a regular one..why????

you have to remove that emissions resonator crap. long time ago i put an ebay short ram on my accord and it sounded like a mustang when vtec kicked in. i don't think it does anything to H motors tho lol

Re: injen intake sounds like a regular one..why????

You will only hear the intake in the higher rpm's. It's just an un-baffled metal intake vs the factory baffled one designed to reduce noise.

Re: injen intake sounds like a regular one..why????

injen intakes are the bomb, cause they make my engine say injen...
injen intakes...i refuse to use them cause they are racist intakes and i'm part Cherokee.
Dude!
CAI sound so loud at low rpm when you get on it cause they are so long and bendy. Short ram is quieter because the air has a smoother,, more direct path to travel. If you want your car to sound different get some headers and do some exhaust work. A SRI does absolutely jack if you dont do other mods
