Megan rear lower tie bar.

I've always been a fan of the rear lower tie bar, even though it doesn't do anything performance wise it looks nice imo. So I ordered a Megan rear tie bar since their really the only people making them for our cars excluding tanable and ultra racing. It was 49.99 shipped to my door. Shipping was pretty awful considering the package was coming from 2 hours away from me. Shipped Monday and just got here this morning. Opening it up the product was flawless, the finish was perfect and everything seemed good. Went to install it and ran into some problems. first was the bracket opening was too small for the bolt... not the acutal hole but the bracket itself. Pictures explain it all. I tried drilling away at the bracket to make it fit but there was just too much that needing to be cut away. Second the brackets didn't sit properly on the subframe. They sat flush but the opening where the bar slides in was pointing upwards, turning it to make the opening sit sideways where the bar would run across the frame the mount wouldn't sit flush and part of the bracket would rub where it shouldn't touch the frame. I didn't get pictures of this though. So overall this junk doesn't fit. I emailed the seller and luckily they're being cool and Im sending it back for a full refund including paid shipping. So im my opnion don't waste your time and money buying this. If anything the ultra racing tie bar looks more promising.

Re: Megan rear lower tie bar.

I have the ultra racing rear tie bar and it fit perfect and looks a lot cleaner as its a solid piece. its about 120$ though, kinda pricey for something thats just for looks. anyways the white bar looks great on my diamond white pearl 5th gen.
