Turtle Wax Headlight Restore Kit

Recently picked up a pair of 1pc Headlights from the junk yard and Im not gonna lie... They were completely fogged up! So my plan was to use tracerx13 DIY write-up EXT: Headlight Fading - Refinish/Paint *DIY*
but went out on a lim for turtle wax headlight restore kit! And let me tell you.. it worked really really good!! Came with 3(4 cause you flip one over) pads to "scrub" out the cover of junk over your lens! Like it said before they came out looking GOOD & amazing and for less than 12 bucks You cant go wrong! I had pictures of before and after but for some reason my card isnt working so i'll post pics later..

Good to know. Thanks.
Rain X headlight restore is a waste of money.

Re: Turtle Wax Headlight Restore Kit

Keep us updated on how long it lasts. I've tried Mother's headlight restorer. It worked well but didn't last for much more than 6 months before they started clouding up again. Still cheaper than replacing them though.

Re: Turtle Wax Headlight Restore Kit

I know this is late but here's just some input for any new people who see this, I used this stuff about a month ago works amazing on the headlight they turned out looking brand new only problem is to make sure your front bumper is covered well when using the turtle wax headlight restore kit. I covered my front bumper with some thin paper and paint masking tape but I guess some of the chemicals got through and it faded the paint a little bit on just a couple spots where it seeped through. Nothing major or too noticeable just thought I'd let everybody know so you don't fade the paint on your bumper like I did.

Re: Turtle Wax Headlight Restore Kit

^^ or take the headlights out like I did, polished them up one night in front of the TV. The Turtlewax restorer works great too. I ran over mine with some 800 and 1000 grip paper first to remove the really stubborn clear coat first though, mine were in really bad condition but look new now.
