Ground Control Coil-over Springs

Installed GC's with a spring rating of 440lb for the front and 350.00 in the rear. So far they are pretty dam stiff and with the Koni's on the firmest dampening setting it rides even more firm. Handles very good in sharp turns as well with little to no body roll but still need to test them out a bit more and let them "settle" in. I'm happy with them and the customer service was great. Definitely recommend them and if you don't mind feeling imperfections in the road and care more about handling then you won't be let down or at least I wasn't. Also your able to choose your spring rating which is a definite plus since other coil-over companies don't offer this.

Re: Ground Control Coil-over Springs

As far as I know Type 1 doesn't let you choose your custom spring rating and I believe type 2's as well. Don't know a company that allows custom spring ratings for coil over sleeves. Also if your planing on tracking your car and want a stiffer suspension you can re-valve the Koni struts not sure about F&F and other coilovers like those

Re: Ground Control Coil-over Springs

Lots and LOTS of track/auto-x guys use the Koni/GC setup. Not saying that there aren't other great setups out there, but this one is tried and true. I think if you get BC Racing Coilovers you can choose custom spring rates.
