Seafoam

I picked this product up from napa as part of my new car tuneup, the can says its good for cleaning a lot of stuff. I used it as a fuel additive to clean my injectors, and ran it through a vacuum hose into my intake to clean all the carbon build up. I think it worked great, It created a lot of blue smoke, and you need someone to hold the can while you do the intake, and you gotta keep revving the engine to keep it from stalling, but after a can in the intake and a quick spin around the block to blow out any residual smoke it definitely made a difference.

have any else tried this on their lude?

i've tried it on my camry and Nissan Spec and it does wonders.

which vacuum hose did you use on the lude?

i use the brake booster vacuum to do it on my camry and that really cleaned it. so much smoke after starting it.

I've been recommended this from an extremely good mechanic. He swears by it. I've tried it on past cars, and it worked wonders. I haven't needed it on the lude yet.

Just wanted to add my input, this stuff works really great. i put half thru my PCV and half in my gas tank.

the product helps to break down carbon build up in the engine and when in the gas tank helps clean your injectors.

you can find plent of how to's when searching seafoam on youtube

Yea I got two cans, ran one though the intake, and one in the gas, it did a pretty good job at breaking crap up, and showed me my exhaust leak.. haha

You could, dunno about the oil thing, but I just went for the whole can, followed the ratio's for the gas, but the intake was just nasty, everything on my engine was black when I got it, needed the cleaning.

for the intake you just kinda stick one end of the hose from the intake into the bottle and rev the engine... gotta keep it revved or it will stall, and I dunno what to do about that one, didnt wanna take my chance on it not wanting to start again.. for the gas you just add it to the tank, the bottle tells you how much to how much gas.

I though of it because one of our celica was like can't getting enough air in the air manifold and it just seem kind of hard to suck enough air or any air at all. And Do you just pour it down to the throttle body from the intake and just directly in the gas right? What about the engine oil? Can you do that too? If you can do all those, how long should i keep it in?

I can personally vouch for Seafoam. My car drove noticeably smoother after using it, plus it was fun as hell. Haha.
