For all your ecu needs for almost every honda motor and you can send in your own ecu to be chipped. Great communication, instant replies to your questions, and they provide excellent information about what kind of ecu, you would need for your engine type, doing a build or not. They are patient on answering any question you have (personally, I repeatedly asked the same questions) and they give great reassurance.

Re: Phearable.net (ECU needs, fuel, wiring, turbo, etc)

can you send in any ecu such as the stock p14? or are you required to run the p28/p72 like hondata recommends?

They provide better answers, but they do have chipping services, you can email and ask for yourself. :D!

nope, not all ECU's are chippable, such as the p14.

i can also personally vouch for phearable ECU's. my turbo motor started up on the second crank on their basemapped ECU

Re: Phearable.net (ECU needs, fuel, wiring, turbo, etc)

I got a chipped p06 in a trade and I thought about getting a basemap from them for my lude but I'm still not sure if it's worth having to get it tuned until Im rockin more bolt ons. The main reason I'd like to run one is to delete knock sensor and egr. do these basemaps come with these options? when I emailed them they never specified. thanks.

Re: Phearable.net (ECU needs, fuel, wiring, turbo, etc)

I've bought 2 chips from John.
Very good business man and his fuel maps were also right on the mark, made more power than stock and a/f ratio was spot on.

Re: Phearable.net (ECU needs, fuel, wiring, turbo, etc)

sorry guys i had a bad experience with phearable but needless to say they do have good customer service, i just so happened got screwed with a bad ecu from them and they tried and tried and tried working with me on it but sweared they test them to ensure there good but continue more at the top of 3rd mine would go into limp mode went to a local tuning shop and replaced my ecu with one of theirs along with one of there saved base maps and problem was gone! phearable swore it was not them however in conclusion it was a faulty ecu; furthermore, after months and months of research on why this problem persisted i encountered many h swapped guys running phearables ecu having the same issue??? i was dumb founded and after eliminating fuel, ignition, possibly missed grounds, it went down to the ecu. and sure enough after haggling with phearable i resorted to chunking out more cash for a new ecu and sure enough it did fix it. and the ecu came at a cheaper cost as well so i couldn't complain! but any way it did get my swap running fine and the fuel maps seemed great from them so maybe i was the ginnie pig who got a bad one in no means am i giving bad rep, simply implying my expirence at phearable.net Thanks.

Re: Phearable.net (ECU needs, fuel, wiring, turbo, etc)

The guy that had my ecu (p06 chipped for a p28 d16z6 turbo) was running his for a while and had no problems. so if I get an h22 basemap from them i'll know immediately if it's a bad chip.

I am waiting for my P28 to come back from them. I wanted IAB support, so the hooked me up with a P72. They are top notch. You wont be disappointed.
