OBX Coolant Overflow Tank

I just bought one of these last week and I have to say I'm glad I spent the $40 to replace the POS plastic one that was hanging in my engine bay by a zip tie. This is a great mod for someone like myself who has done the battery relocation. Not to say that you can't use this without the relocation, I really have no idea where you would put it though. As many of you know, the stock coolant reservoir is held by the battery tray, and when that's removed, it just kind of hangs out in the bay.

This tank is universal, so there is some custom work/jimmy rigging to be done. I'll get some pictures up of how I got it to fit once I get my hands on a camera.

Although this tank obviously does not increase hp, it sure looks good in the engine bay. It also utilizes 2 nipples for 2 hoses instead of one, one being attached to the radiator for when the engine is too hot, and the other for when there's too much coolant, and it's able to spit some of the coolant out. It also has a clear rubber tube on the side of it to tell you the level of coolant inside of the tank. It comes in red (what I bought), blue, and chrome.

This was purchased from eBay, and I'll provide a link to anyone looking for one, but all you have to do is type, "OBX coolant reserve" in search and they'll come up.

Overall, this is strictly a visual mod, but I'm very satisfied with the purchase. I was VERY tired of seeing that poor old piece of plastic dangling for dear life.

Any other questions on this product I'll be glad to help.
