KYB GR-2 Gas Shocks

So for awhile I wanted to compliment my skunk2 coilovers with a new set of set of struts. I considered the Tokico Blues but heard they were too soft. So I did some more research and ran into KYBs. I heard nothing but good reviews so went ahead and ordered all four for myself...

PRO: Installation was a breeze, considering I just did the springs a few months ago. Instructions were included but weren't even glanced at. Welds looked professional and quality compared to the Honda struts. The fitment was exact to the stocks too so everything was pleasant. The test ride was great too, the usual Colorado splits and potholes in the roads were barely noticed now. On the stock struts bumps would feel very harsh, but with the KYBs I can't even notice. And they're JDM!!!

CON: uhhh...?

In conclusion: Worth the $280 spent and compliment any spring set up.

Re: KYB GR-2 Gas Shocks

Myth. That's what I'm running right now and although I don't have much basis for comparasion I have to agree they are a quality product for a reasonable price.

i would imagine they would feel fine like the other spring sets but would probably give thomas97 a pm since he stated he was looking into that combo awhile ago...

They work very well. Ive had them for about 15k miles now and have no regrets. The price was right and the damping fits the spring rate well.

Re: KYB GR-2 Gas Shocks

Hey everyone, I have a full set of brand new KYB GR-2's that have never been used. I'm located in south east Virginia. I'm looking to get $150.00 for the set of four shocks/struts. i have pics of the KYB GR2's and can email them to you upon request. i have listed them for sale in my local craigslist as well. any questions please email me at dan@myofficeplus.com. thanks everyone.
