I dunno about Italy but I do know that Germany has certain roads where there is no speed limit. They are for luxary cars and stuff anyway but I guess if one was stolen, the Popo would need something that could at elast keep up with it.

Yes, in northern Italy, Swiss and Germany the autobahn runs through those 3 countries. I almost was in Germany, back then. Crazy ass supercar that is a damn POLICE CAR!!!
