Re: Guess what...

I got a friend that's hooking me up, lightly used ZEX dry kit + purge kit + bottle warmer = $250. Such a sick deal I can't pass it up.

Only thing is that the bottle warmer may be on the fritz, so I'm wondering what it could be.

Re: Guess what...

Hey, will this fit in our lower cd holder plate area?

http://www.need-4-speed.com/nfs.htm

it's the quad switch panel a little way down, I was thinking I could have that wired up for
1 - Arm NOS
2 - Remote Opener
3 - Bottle Warmer
4 - Purge Switch

Re: Guess what...

What's wrong with the bottle warmer? The issue with most warmers is the thermostat switch. They go bad pretty quickly and cause them to get stupid.

Bottle warmers are a great add on to any nitrious setup. You want your juice tank nice and warm, I believe the warmers heat them up to 85F. This will then relate to adequate bottle pressure, which then translates to proper nitrious and power extraction.

<----------------- I've used the juice for a few years. I started back when they called it Nitrious, NAWZ, Juice, pill and now the "unit"

Re: Guess what...

I don't know what the deal is with the warmer, I haven't seen it yet. The therm is probably the first thing I'll check. Is it an easy fix?

Re: Guess what...

Another quesiton:
I'm planning on getting a p28 with hondata s200, which has nitrous control functionality with it and I was wondering how that works, seeing as the Zex kit also controls the nos. What takes precedence? What's better to use?

Re: Guess what...

I use a momentary switch. WOT switch and my hand. I don't rely on anything else.

I cancel the thermostat with a bypass grounding setup.

Make sure it's anywhere from 85-90F.

Re: Guess what...

I'll probably just send in the bottle warmer to zex, I hear they will take a look and tell you what's wrong and a lot of the time they'll replace/fix whatever is wrong. But does the hondata system take precendce over the zex box?
