Is anyone doing a F20b Build

I've got an F20b in my 4th gen and I've been trying to find some builds using the F20b. I've yet to find any great ones. Any suggestions?

Re: Is anyone doing a F20b Build

what are your goals for the build ?
bottom end is beefy and some parts are interchangeable with some other engines.
rod cap bolts are a weak point, ring landings are better than h22.
The head needs attention if u plan for big power.
The engine is high compression, leaves little room between piston and valve. Much customizing on an engine like this, not for the faint of heart if u want power.
Pistons can be worked, r/s ratio is better than most others, iirc 1.49 or so. So not too much sideloading. Thats where the customizing comes in.
There are builds floating around but I havent seen any guys who really went the whole mile with it. Some engines blew, some gave up, some ran out of cash. This is one of the more serious builds..
Kaizenspeed has some support for f20b, same with Bisimoto... some rare pistons on had to be had there.. Or get cutom pistons made that way u can keep high comp if u want and make bigger valve reliefs.. some food for thought
