OK... someone help me make sense of this. So I brought my other prelude (2000) to get etested and the CEL went on. It says P1399. Now since that could be anything I was thinking I could take it to the next step, I brought her home and I did the self diagnostic with the wire jumper. It gave me honda code 65, this is secondary oxygen sensor heater wire. 3 other abs light were flashing as well I didn't really look into it. What I cannot make sense of is the coralation between the two codes... Please anyone let me know what you guys think.

Re: The legendary P1399
the codes are really meant to help you diagnose the problem so it's not going to tell you the cause but what is being affected so if you have an open circuit in your O2 sensor it's not going to say hey one of your wires is cut or whatever it's just gonna be the code for your sensor saying there's something wrong there.... if your getting both of those codes one is honda code and the other is a generic trouble code.... if you know how to back probe wires and have an o-scope you could figure out what your o2 sensor is doing but it's really like every other obd 2 car if you have some cash i would just bring it to a shop they diag it and if you want them to do the work they usually drop the cost of the diag..... i'm not sure if everyone here would agree and i do like to do a lot of work myself on my cars but mine is a 3rd gen and it's usually a vacuum problem if anything is wrong with mine..... hope that helps...
