Re: H22A8 Tensioner noise???

try to take that headers heat shield off and try does it help

or is timing belts cover opened when? or is it properly closed tight?

does the car works otherwise ok, no powerloss or anything just that sound?

Re: H22A8 Tensioner noise???

the timing casings are tight and secure. The header heatshield i will remove when i get the time and its not snowing.

Otherwise the car appears to be fine and drives fine also.

I have had this sound before, try to see if your crank shaft pulley is wobbling.

Re: H22A8 Tensioner noise???

UPDATE: Done timing belt and replaced auto tensioner. Noise has gone. Been enjoying VTEC in all its glory since sorting it.
