Will the a4 wiring harness work with the a?

all I got was a long block with no exhaust mani so I can't tell by the 02 sensor.. How else could I tell if its obd1 or obd2?

What's the engine code? look it up in one of Kronn's charts to see where the motor came from.
usually the H22a harness has a different distributor plug, which you can get a harness to go obd1 to obd2 distributor from rywire. the obd1 h22a harness is missing i think 1 or 2 sensors vs the obd2... but don't quote me on that as i'm not 100% sure.
