Re: h23 build any suggestions

you need crazy amounts of money to achieve na 300hp!

do you understand that? and do you understand this: its not very street friendly car anymore after that build (and you have to new almost every part what you have there now)

All Motor H22a4 build

not gonna happen, you need high comp oversize pistons

Re: h23 build any suggestions

err, I dont really recommend nitrous to anyone, much can go wrong with them

so basicly you need stage 3 cams + GOOD valvetrain and as high compression as possible. ITBs of course with BIGGER injectors, full custom exhaust (3"), better fuel pump, better fuel lines, good clutch...

Re: h23 build any suggestions

Its been kind of a slow project and still has along ways to go. I also am going to do a brake booster delete and a few other things I am sure I will run into lots of issues as I go.

Re: h23 build any suggestions

That CRX looks pretty good. Gonna surprise some mustangs and vettes for sure!!! In order to run forged without sleeving, you would need mahle gold series. They are the only ones that are compatible with frm lining.

Re: h23 build any suggestions

Hmmm, I'm pretty sure the H23vtec bluetop had frm sleeves in the euro accord. Not positive now. My block for my frank motor has chromoly sleeves in it. It was a non vtec h23 that he had a bunch of work done for a his 4th gen. I bought the block off a kid who needed money for a v8 s10 project. Either way u sound like u know what doing. This is what my deck looks like right now. I just got the head on today. I hope its running in a week or 2...,......wait 396?? for what???

Re: h23 build any suggestions

On the s2k pistons, they are the same bore. I dont know know how the wrist pins are set up. Thats gonna be the key i think. H22 type s slugs will prob give u the best bang for the buck. They use floating wrist pins so u have to have ur rods get new bushings.
