Anyone running N/A G23??
I'm planning on building a nasty N/A g23!
Wanted to know if anyone on heres running one? searched a few times, didnt find anything. just hoping i wont have to go through pages of accord and prelude mods to find out which parts work best for the dough. I've got a pretty good idea what i want to run, i just really dont like the price tag! (who does!?) thanks! ~Newb |

g23 is a frankenstien motor. f and h mixed together. btw, i do got a question for u 98 vtec, how did u make yr na lude and 11 second car 1/4 mile??

Hey man check out my build. I am going G23 vtec, 13.5.1 compression, Huge cam, Pnp, e85, blah blah blah. Just picked up my f23 block a couple days ago. going for 280-300 whp....

diamond- thats what ive heard... the issue with an h22, cant you not use aftermarket pistons or bore over? and ive got a y7/y8 minime in my ek coupe as my d.d. this is going to be strictly a performance build, saturday night drives and track nights!
and believe me, i want to do nothing but research as much as possible before i dump cash into this. it just seems cheaper (not by much buut) than a k series build, and even if i did a k series, id take a k24 and mount a k20a2 head to it! (this is for an eg hatch btw!) |

Something I forgot to mention on the g build (im not sure if u kno already or not) is u have to fab a custom coolant pipe. U take the top of the h23 line and half of the f line n u have to connect them and hop like hell they dnt leak. But with a k ur looking at a better aftermarket as well as more reliability. This is a buddy of mines All motor K drag hatch. Stock internals :Smile: BTW He's runnin 10.80's now lol

first off... damn!
second off, yea im pretty sure with a 10-15k budget i should beable to rig up a k motor to do that. 3rdly what was wrong with that viper!? it was spittin a lot of white smoke down the track? |

He doesn't have near that I to that car. Maybe overall cuz its strict track car n he tears it down every week etc but u wouldn't believe me if I told h what was done to it lol. Cams itbs drag version of my header n lots of tuning. That's it for the engine. All on s300. Then obviously the slicks n clutch etc n its gutted. Like I said it's a race car only but ya...not too much all things considered into the car. Where he cut cost is he tunes it himself at his shop.
As for the viper its a mix of wheelspin n being on the bottle
