****ing h23 tensioner garbage

ello ! i need some help quick , im buying a new lude on friday that i put a deposit on and my lude is being sold thrusday which gives me 3 days to figure out this problem since i already got a deposit on it .. about a month ago i did a h23 tensioner swap on my h22 with new timing belt ect... but the belt keeps moving and rubbing on the balancer bearing/tensioner and is destroying my belt .. ive tooken it apart twice now to move the belt as very far to the left of the engine but every time i start it.. it just completly shifts sides and rubs it again , what to do ? thanks if nyone has ever had this problem

Re: ****ing h23 tensioner garbage

IIRC, there needs to be a thick washer in between the two tensioners for the conversion. did you put that in there?
